ESP8266

The reset loop trouble can be fixed following the instructions on the original website.

ESP32-C3

For the ESP32C3 Super Mini, you should hold the BOOT button pressed and then press RST to enter in the bootloader mode. After that you can use this page to load MicroPython firmware into the ESP32-C3 SuperMini.

After flashing the new firmware, turn the board off and on again: remove the USB cable and then connect it again to get MicroPython working.
